Warped Tour 2015 Essentials, Pt. 1

Fearless Records has a habit of associating themselves with unopposed talent, further proved by the label’s most recent (and first!) British band signing. Originally from Brighton, United Kingdom, As It Is has taken the pop punk world by transatlantic storm. With their current recognition by one of the biggest punk rock labels in the nation and their many upcoming tours, including the Glamour Kills Spring Break tour, this band is definitely making their break. The wait to see just how much they’ll bring it at Warped is anxious for all. Check out their newest single, “Dial Tones”, and look for their debut album coming at you soon!

Bradley Walden, his godlike complex, and the rest of the maestros are going to be making a stage appearance this year. Given the emotional depth of their most recent album, Versus, that’s really no surprise. Warped Tour is all about intense connection, musical emotion and overall craziness. If you’re really feeling a rock and roll matrix with a side of lyrics worth screaming along to, don’t miss these guys.

In case you hadn’t heard from their round on the Outsiders Tour, Metro Station is back and they brought the classic dance vibe, hazy fantasy tunes with them. For age old fans, like yours truly, their “Gold” EP, featuring their hit single “She Likes Girls”, brings the same excitement that’s lain dormant since the Shake It days. I’m envisioning a summer dusk set, complete with an exhilarated, dancing crowd. Why WOULDN’T you be there?

The kings of divine music covers are on their way to bring all that and more to the stage this year. This band, going steady since 2004, has the coveted power of not only producing hypnotizing original melodies, but improving every previous song they get their hands – or rather, guitars – on. This band has just the amount of diversity that concert goers everywhere thrive on, and are sure to be a hit. Check out their latest cover here.

Oh, Jonny Craig. A lot’s been said of the infamous lead vocalist, but one thing that isn’t disputable is that ethereal sound. Accompanied by his hardcore rock counterparts Alex Lyman and Tai Wright, Slaves will be making their Warped Tour debut, as well as journeying down the road to their second studio album. Trivial and talented are two ingredients sure to spice up the tour, and Slaves owns them both. Their latest music video for “My Soul Is Empty and Full of White Girls” can be found here.

Last for today, but not least. After his most recent legendary prom stint, “Riff Raff is going to be on Warped Tour” is a sentence that should have you heading to the nearest ticket headquarters if for nothing else than the sure to be one of a kind summer escapade. The self-proclaimed “Neon Icon” is not only in the music business, but has launched multiple original clothing and shoe merchandise. If his live performances are anything like his Twitter account, it’s sure to be a “Versace” good time. Watch his latest music video here.
