My Goodness, This Video Might Kick Your Teeth In

Seattle rock band My Goodness are preparing for a busy spring and summer touring the U.S. and in anticipation for the upcoming dates they’ve premiered a new video for their latest single, “Sweet Tooth,” at Relix.com. The song is featured on the band’s new record, Shiver + Shake, which can be purchased at Amazon and iTunes.

The song, as you may already know, is pretty fantastic! “”Sweet Tooth” is about the start of a new relationship and the indecision and insecurities that can come along with it.” singer/guitarist Joel Schneider tells Relix.com. The song starts off very boppy, or dancy, very tap-able and very jumpy. As “Sweet Tooth” progresses it transitions very eloquently into a perfect, relatable pop/rock song. The music is awesome and the lead singers voice is right on point, this song is very well put together.

Now, the video is something else. It begins by introducing the main character, a woman, let’s call her Sally, because reasons. Sally, upon waking up in the morning, discovers a phone text and flowers that read “I’m Sorry.” — I’m sure you might understand what has happened. — Instead of being disheartened like one might expect, she becomes angry and starts smashing the apologetic gifts given to her presumably by Mr. Schneider himself. Sally insatiable rage continues to grow like a blonde She-Hulk and she obtains a superpower that turns everything she smashes into candy and flowers.

The song and music video are both truly entertaining to listen to and watch. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The great thing about all of this is that My Goodness is heading out on TOUR! What?! Yes, you read correctly. See the below tour dates and check out all of the other great videos and music by My Goodness. I, for one, would be very interested in seeing their live performance.
